Got questions?
Are you affiliated with StoryBrand or CoachBuilder?
No, we’re not. Several of our founding members are currently StoryBrand certified and the community has been created with (both former and current) StoryBrand guides in mind, but we are not sponsored by, receiving support from, or in any way affiliated with the StoryBrand Coach program or CoachBuilder.
Do you offer training (StoryBrand or other)?
No, we do not offer formal training; however, our sessions are designed for established freelancers, creatives, or consultants to discuss current topics, share knowledge and advice, and help each other grow through collaborations and connections.
Why do you keep referring to members as "Guides"?
That’s a good question; it’s a force of habit (we used to be the “International Storybrand Guides” community).
We know the word “Guide” is confusing for the outside world, and we are actively looking for a better name for this community.
How can I get involved?
If you have ideas that could make this community even better, or you’d like to volunteer some of your time to get this going, we’d love to hear from you!
Send a Slack message to Sandrine – or reply to one of the newsletters. Or email hello@smartalpaca.eu!
What about other communities, like The Network and Bird Mountain?
What about them? They’re great, and if you’re a member there, you’ll certainly see some familiar faces here!
The main difference: this community started in Europe, so online events are GMT zone friendly – and our first in-person meetups are in the UK and Europe.
Even as we’re expanding activities to Canada, South/Central America, and other parts of the world, and even though many of our members may work mainly or exclusively with US-based clients, we want to build this network on a bedrock of global accessibility and acknowledgement of specific challenges in different regions.
