Q&A
Can we discuss this website on a call instead?
Do I need to be familiar with Storybrand?
Yes, and no.
Storybrand is a framework that makes the customer the “hero” of your brand’s story.
Understanding and being on board with customer-centric marketing will make our collaboration smoother, even if you’re not familiar with Storybrand,
As a certified Storybrand consultant, I’m qualified to implement the Marketing Made Simple framework – but that doesn’t mean I’ll always follow the framework by the letter.
What kind of materials can I submit?
It can be extended to include a proposal, sales email, or other type of marketing & sales copy.
Please ask if you’d like my feedback on something different!
How "finished" does the page need to be to get your help?
You can be at any stage of the process, for instance:
- You’re stuck getting started – maybe you’re unsure which angle to use, or how to structure the website. I’ll ask you to share essential information and provide you with a suggested outline.
- You’ve got a wireframe, but it’s not quite there yet; I’ll identify the holes in your plot so you can get right back to work and finish it
- It’s done and you’re confident it’s good, but you also know having me go through it will make it even better.
How will I receive the feedback?
Most of the time, I will use a dedicated feedback tool to add comments in the margins. (if you’re already using a feedback tool and would like me to use that, I’m happy to!)
In some cases, I’ll put my suggestions (e.g. an alternative outline, heading suggestions, etc) in a Google doc that I’ll share with you.
Either way, I record a Loom video to walk you through my suggestions. Those videos come with a transcript so it’s easy for you to find the essentials!
How does it work?
You decide when you’ll have something for me to review. Reserve a slot in my calendar (below) so I can block time for you as soon as you’re ready.
- Complete this form when you send me your materials.
- I will usually get back to you within 1-4 hours after your submission time (max 24 hours). In some cases, I will request additional information from you before providing my recommendations.
- If you apply (some of) my suggestions right away, I’m happy to do another review or two within 2 working days after I sent you my feedback, so we can further polish the copy together.
Why should I book a discovery call first?
However, you don’t need that call in order to get actionable feedback.
What is this "beta launch pricing"?
I’m keeping prices low so it’s easy for people to try it; and while I expect users will be just as happy as past clients, I am also very open to any feedback you have on the process.
